Aurora walked the corridors of the castle wondering where he could be. She had received a message from him that morning to meet her here at this precise moment. She knew she should not be as angry as she was as it was her choice after all to come so early, and that was why she had already been waiting half an hour. She knew if she had arrived only now she would not be even slightly concerned that he was not there yet.
All the same, he had told her he would meet her at half past two, and that time was now almost a minute ago and she had a class in ten minutes on the other side of the castle. She grimaced patiently and leant against the wall of the corridor to step around those who were moving from here to there on their own way to their next class. Or maybe they weren’t. The lunch break still had ten minutes to go so maybe they were enjoying their time away from their desks.
Probably. The Fools.
She looked up when a figure approached, out fo the corner of her eye it was him so she looked up sharply until the face of someone completely different came into focus and she grumbled to herself under her breath. This was a strange feeling to be so concerned for his arrival to this meeting. Just last week she was calling him a git behind his back. And a week prior to that she had called him a spoilt little rich mummy’s boy to his face.
The week before that she had secretly cursed him at dinner.
Why then did she now just want to be in his presence. And why did it not make her physically ill to think about meeting him with such a positive air.
Disgusting.
