The Golden Hall had been quiet of late. That in itself should have been enough to let somebody know that someone was not right at Koalingo Academy. The dining hall was usually a place for friends to meet eat and greet and if nothing else; the dining hall was a place to make noise. But lately, and definitely not this morning.
Godric walked quietly towards the Emerindyl table, which all the school knew was at the far side of the hall next to the great glass doors which led out the side of the Golded dining hall to the terrace which overlooked the pools and gardens of Koalingo Academy. Godric assumed a lot of the silence in these weeks were due to the midyear exams, which effected everyone.
Godric had only recently finished with his last exam, and no sooner had his classes started again that he found himself neck deep in exams. This was what people spoke about when they warned all the younger students of the Academy about how seriously they should be treating the seventh year.
Godric had other things on his mind of course. He didn’t know how to react to the strange feelings he felt at the sight of a certain member of his grade. Moreover he didn’t know how to react to the fact that these feelings were not directed towards Elouise.
Sitting down at the Emerindyl table Godric looked about quietly. A glass of juice appeared in front of him, but no food. Godric found he couldn’t eat lately. His headaches had continued to get worse in the month of exams, and their improvement seemed unlikely.
