Robbie was standing on a cliff, which overlooked a landscape uninhabited by people. He had come up to this point many times in his time working at the school. It was a fair trek at least three hours had elapsed since him and his company moved out of the school on the weekend. He had nothing he needed to catch up on in the school and felt it might be appropriate to get out, even if it was only for a little while.
“Picturesque, and yet somewhat dangerous,” he said to his company while he looked forward. His eyes scanned the canopy of the forest far below. He saw birds take off here and there though he knew that this was likely an action of purpose that only the birds understood and not one that meant anything to him. He breathed in the air and exhaled slowly.
“I come here as often as I can, there is nothing like untainted air,” he said as he took another breath and turned to face his company. He did not smile, though the expression on his face was one that bore little purpose. He was in a good mood today and if he was the smiling type, he might be smiling now. Unfortunate for anyone who wanted to see him smile.
“Can you pass the water, please?” he asked waiting for his request to be made compliant.

Lucy handed the bottle of water from the backpack she had and also an empty cup. The bottle was charmed not to break, and the whole backpack was featherlight. Lucy didn't mind the hike up here, but she'd done whatever she could to make the journey easier, and that included making their lunch weigh nothing upon her back.
She had volunteered to come with Robbie when he mentioned this trip in the staff room a couple of days ago. He had spoken of the view and the tranquility, so Lucy had been interested to see if the place lived up to his words. It would also give her a chance to learn a bit more about him without her thoughts, and his, being interrupted. She hadn't, however, realised that a three hour hike meant a three hour hike.
"The view is truly beautiful, I see now what you meant" Lucy said to her colleague, sitting down on a rock to rest her feet and legs. She picked up another bottle of water from the bag and took a mouthful, not bothering to use a cup herself.

He gave her back the cup when he realised she had her own bottle of water and took a long drink of it. He enjoyed the water immensely and found it as welcome as if he were somewhere in the middle of a drought. “Thank You,” he gave her the bottle back as she had the only bag they had brought with them. He had insisted before their hike that they did not require luggage while on their hike, though knowing now how much he appreciated the water, he could not complain.
“Isn’t it,” he said to her as a statement and not a question. He had been grateful that she had chosen to come along with him. Usually he came here himself and it meant nothing to him to spend the whole day without a drink. When he knew he didn’t have one, he did not thirst. And now he realised this was folly, as he enjoyed the view a lot more now that he had quenched his thirst.
“Out there, somewhere,” he said as he moved his hand to gesture across the entire landscape, “Is something much more sinister then you and I would imagine looking at it,” he said as he thought of something totally off topic, but something that was quite appropriate to the topic they were discussing, “Beauty is a powerful tool, and at the same time a powerful enemy,” he looked away from the Divination Professor and off to the horizon.
“All this beauty, to the trained eye, is nothing more then a cover,” he said as he stared downwards into the forest canopy they were above. Beneath it knowing somewhere the Guild of Avada dwelt.

Charlotte wiped her brow just in case she was sweating. She was pleased to find though that she was doing little more then glowing after their trek from the castle. She came to rest on a rock while she listened to Lucy and Robbie go back and forth about the view. She knew she ought to get up and look at it, but there would be plenty of time for that after her legs were comfortably able once more. She stretched her arms and took a couple of deep breaths before she climbed up off the rock with her own water bottle in hand.
She had concocted a little potion out of herbs that she grew in her green houses which had extraordinary energy revival capabilities. The only problem with them though as it needed to be consumed sparingly otherwise it developed fat on your body quickly. Talk about an energy drink.
She moved to the edge of the cliff and looked off it. This was why she enjoyed her subject, plants were captivating, and the view of this natural floral habitat was somewhat awe-inspiring. She looked at it as a mother might look upon her children with pride in her eyes for how they had grown. She had come here a few times in her years at Koalingo, and she had been able to pick out the changes in the forest since then, most of them were good.
“See over there?” she pointed off in the distance, it would take a keen eye to spot what she was pointing at, thankfully she knew Robbie had such an eye, and as an Ameraid Lucy would likely just see the mental imagery of it in Charlotte’s mind. “See that clearing? It’s much larger then it used to be, and the trees around it seem like they are dying,” she had very keen eyes, that and she knew what to look for when the life of a tree was failing.
“That’s got to be what…” she moved closer and cupped her hands over her eyes so that there would be minimal distraction to her line of sight, “Four acres?” she turned and looked at Rob and Lucy for their opinions on the matter.
