Lakasha didn’t understand why she was here, Lord Emerindyl never seemed to notice her let alone like her enough to bring he into something, so far as she could tell, he thought was some great opportunity. Personally she’d much rather the life he took her from, she didn’t mind graduating from school one bit. Sitting idly by a pool in the gardens of her fourth, soon-to-be-late husband was more pampering then this could ever be, she could not deny it, she had a lust for death, and no one would change her minds on the subject.
She wondered as she walked noisily though the darkened corridors of the Ruberagon Common if Lord Emerindyl understood wholly what kind of woman she was. Did he really think she was good quality as far as moral fibre stood? Or was she a mistake that he decided it too difficult a task to rectify; she really didn’t understand it at all.
Further to this point she had still not seen a single Ruberagon, which made her wonder more about her reasons for being here. She took the next corner as swiftly as she had done the ones that she had already walked and found herself staring into the eyes of the first Ruberagon she had found since she had arrived.
“And you are?” she asked without the slightest hint of joy.

Lowra roamed the dark and silent corridors of the Ruberagon Common Rooms. It was strange seeing them so empty. The silence was comforting rather than being frightening. A slight musty smell was in the air from them being out of use for so long now. It was even stranger to be back in the common rooms after graduating so many years earlier.
She had no idea why she had been invited back to Koalingo. Lord Emerindyl never seemed to acknowledge that she existed in the past, yet here she was. After graduating she had spent a bit of time travelling, surrounding herself with the muggle way of life and experiencing what the world had to offer. More recently she had been enjoying a quiet lifestyle in a quaint little cottage nestled in a pine forest. Being back at Koalingo sure was a change of scenery, but a welcomed change. Being twenty-three again was definitely not something to take pleasure in. She remembered exactly what she had been like and what she got up to at that age and she was well past the dramas that came with it.
Lost in her own thoughts she barely noticed that she had come to a stand still and before her was another Ruberagon. “Sorry, what did you say? I was off in my own little world, I didn’t quite catch whatever you said.” Lowra looked the woman up and down and stared, almost rudely at her. “I don’t think we’ve met before. I’m Lowra.”

“Clearly… as you should know, those who know me matter, seeing you do not know me then you clearly do not,” Lakasha was not a kind person, everyone knew so, this is why she never understood being brought here, and this girl did not seem to respect Lakasha for who she was, and those who did not respect did not know how they should be when in the presence of their betters and Lakasha had little time for them.
However, this was the first Ruberagon she had crossed since her arrival, and though this girl did not understand the meaning of respect yet, it did not mean she would not always. Lakasha eyed her for a moment wondering exactly how to approach this girl, she decided on a normal approach.
“I guess then if you do not know who I am then the prudent thing to do would be to introduce myself, I am Lakasha Shocanis, I schooled here in the House of Ruberagon,” she looked the woman up and down wondering exactly why she didn’t know her. Something screamed that she should, she wondered briefly if her name would strike a chord with Lowra. Though then why did the woman not notice her straight away.
“If you do not know me from school then I can only assume I was here before or after you, and if I was here at the time of your education, then there was probably a very good reason we did not know one another,” she looked at her once again calculating her next comment, she knew many people admired and despised the group Lakasha was included in at school.
“Lucius and Kalika never mentioned a Lowra, is it possible you know of Lucius?”

Lowra glared at the girl standing before her who clearly thought she was better than her. The name Lakasha was vaguely familiar but she couldn’t recall ever seeing her around Koalingo or the Ruberagon common rooms. At the mention of Lucius Lowra remembered why she had chosen to stay clear of that group. They were not something to be admired or that one wanted to be part of. Not in her opinion anyway.
“Sure. I remember Lucius. Can’t say we were ever friends though.” she smirked at her last comment. No one wanted to be friends with Lucius besides the two or three girls who hung around him. She often wondered if it was out of pity or if they were hoping for some kind of romance with him or because they wanted to be like him one day.
“So what is Lucius up to now days? Still keep in contact with him?” she couldn’t help but be curious as to what had happened to Mr. Sinister. She hadn’t exactly kept up to date with the goings on of the wizarding world as much as she should have.

Was it that the mention of his name drew him towards the conversation? No it could not have been, he had not heard any of the conversation prior to drawing around the corner to the little meeting going on between Lakasha and…. What was her name? It didn’t matter. He walked up to them looking imperiously upon a woman he knew and a woman he might recall if he thought about it a moment longer then he cared to.
His black travelling cloak was clipped at his neck with a silver clasp in the shape of an S upon a shield with a dragon on it. It was an ornate little clip though not too big to take the focus off his youthful looking face, which for the moment was as pale as it always was, framed by the bits of his fringe that would not be tied back like the rest of his main of deep ebony.
“Lakasha,” he greeted her, totally ignoring the –other- girl. He stepped between them and brought Lakasha’s hands to his lips without actually touching them, he knew Lakasha had a tendency to douse her fingers with poison and that he was quite happy to be wearing black dragon hide gloves.
“Our first chance meeting, what a pleasure,” he said to her as he smirked his eyes slipping back towards the other woman in jest. He knew of the girl, at least he remembered her face… sort of. He never really associated with her, and from what he knew she was something of a Ruberagon outcast. No body consorted with her. At least, no one in Ruberagon house that wanted to be anybody ever.
“Come my friend, Lord Emerindyl brought us here to learn, not to show charity to those whom are not worthy,” he turned at last and flashed one spiteful gaze at the woman he still did not know, nor care to hear about. She was not part of the major part of Ruberagon House that followed Lucius’ way. He thought her somewhat pathetic for even trying to be different.
