Romulus leaned against the walls of the entrance courtyard with a lazy expression about himself. He was waiting to meet with someone and was not very impressed with their lateness. He checked his wrist watch and sneered, this person was nearly a half an hour later, and he had so much planned that day he didn’t feel much like waiting around for them.
The biggest point to be made was that he was the invited person to the meeting, not the invitee. This; to him; was an insult. It was almost as if this whole thing was a set-up just to annoy him.
He leant against the wall with his arms crossed and his eyes surveying the scenery. He had seen many Ameraid’s coming out of the fountain as he waited for in initiator of his invitation to arrive. He was always fascinated about the Ameraid common room; not that he would admit it.
It would seem Amberly Ameraid knew a thing or two about a thing or two.
He heaved a great impatient sigh as he looked around, “Where is she?” he said to himself one more time as his eyes moved towards the giant sized stairs.

"Hey stranger," Jessica murmured as she rounded the corner and appeared in front of Romulus. She hadn't seen him for several days and didn't like to admit it, but she'd kinda missed his company. There was something incredibly intriguing about him, and she longed to know more, but every time she'd seen him, she'd left feeling as though she knew even less.
There was something about him that was for sure...
"Who are you waiting for? Don't tell me I'm interrupting another one of your secret little meetings" she smirked, referring of course to an occassion about a week ago where she'd been verbally attacked by some buffoons in her own house. Her feathers had been ruffled, definately, but she hadn't let that deter her from her goal.

“Meeting? What meeting, there is no meeting,” he had said a little faster then he perhaps would otherwise have appreciated. He looked away for a little and then back towards her with a look on his face that said he was perfectly welcoming of her company. It was the daylight, not dark, so he could not exactly have expected a private meeting anyway. He looked around a little distractedly and decided that he was not going to wait any longer.
“I’m not waiting for anyone anymore,” he told her without smiling, though his appearance was a little more welcoming then it might have appeared in the seconds before.
“What are you doing, anyway?” he asked her, a thought coming to him, perhaps this morning was not a total write off yet, “Feel like taking a trip?”

Romulus seemed a little on edge. That was most definately intruguing to Jessica. She walked towards him, one of her perfect eyebrows raising. Something she had longed to do was spend more time with him. Her thoughts were filled of him more often than she would have liked. Or rather, would have liked to admit. There was something about him, something that made him so deliciously different to the other Ruberagon males. There was something so enticing, like the white rabbit.
But did she want to follow?
"Sure" she half smiled in reply to his question. She knew he was not talking of a literal trip, of course, but the other... funner trip.

"“Sound like a plan,” he said as he looked over his shoulder cautiously one last time before moving away towards the entrance to the school. His black cloak whipped behind him purposely as he made his way forward. He moved past the entrance towards the gate to the left of it. He knew the school only had scheduled carriages heading to the Koaltumut below the mountain, though his destination was somewhat more spectacular.
His black boots clipped against the cold stone as he moved forward through the sunlight. He didn’t pay a lot of sight in the direction of Jessica not wanting to appear too eager. He approached the carriage loading dock and did not find himself disappointed.
A black carriage swooped down out of the sky, it was not drawn by a dragon as most carriages at the school were, this one was his finely crafted and shined in perfect order. Romulus scarcely used it while at school but today was a special occasion.
He said nothing as he held out his hand; offering it in assistance to climb into the carriage.

Jessica followed Romulus towards the carriage dock. She noticed he did not turn to look at her as they were walking and this confused her more than a little. Was he shy? Hardly... Embarassed? Of what though? She shrugged the feeling of uncertainty off and looked around to where they were.
She wondered if perhaps they were going to take one of the school carriages to Koaltumut and looked around to see if there was one coming. She was most surprised then to see one swoop down from the sky and land neatly in front of them.
Jessica said nothing as Romulus stepped forward to assist her into the carriage. Had he been anyone else, he probably would have felt a neat backhand across his face, but Jessica chose to take this as a compliment and was impressed. She stepped forward and took his hand, stepping neatly into the carriage.
She was wearing a black travelling cloak as it was quite cold outside, but she found the inside of the carriage to be warm and comfortable. It was obviously expensive and exclusive, but really, Jessica expected nothing less from Romulus.

Romulus looked up at the driver. A portly little goblin with a sober look on his face and an expression of absolute disinterest in anything but the task at hand. Romulus knew exactly where he wanted to go and thought who better to take with him then this; the girl of his current focus. “Home,” he uttered in a command that was not impolite but also not the kind you would give to someone when you were allowing them the opportunity to decline.
He then climbed up into the carriage and door closed behind him. He sat opposite Jessica and looked at her full in the face for a moment before he started speaking. It’s quite a distance, though I don’t think the travel time will be over-extended,” he told her, meaning both that it would not actually take very long to arrive, and that the time it did take would be spent well in current company.
The carriage shook into movement and soon they were smoothly flying over Koaltumut and away from Koalingo Manor. He knew normally they would not be allowed to do this, though as he was a seventh year, and no one knew Jessica was with him, it was not as if anyone could argue the fact; he was of age after all, and he had as much right as a professor to leave school grounds over the weekend.
‘Travel games?” he said to her, offering conversation more then anything else, “I think we might be able to utilise this time to get to know one another better?”

Jessica leant back in her seat, crossing her legs neatly. It was interesting, certainly. She had not expected to do anything but school that night. She had merely snuck out for some of that ‘fresh air’ she was so fond of and had stumbled across Romulus. The night was definitely turning out to be better than she’d hoped. After all, she was going to Romulus’ ‘home’, wherever that may be.
Still leaning comfortably, Jessica uncrossed her legs and crossed them again, this time her left leg over the right one. She was not impressed as someone from say… Saphricorn would be, for she was used to expensive items and luxury, but she did think the whole thing seemed a little planned out, a little too convenient perhaps.
“Go ahead,” Jessica smirked, wondering what he wanted to know. She would be asking questions of her own of course, for she was incredibly curious about Romulus, but she was also curious as to know what he wanted to know about her. Perhaps she could gauge what kinds of questions were appropriate. After all, what kind of getting to know you session was this?

Romulus sat back on his side of the carriage pretending to be thinking of what he should perhaps ask. He knew exactly which questions his mistress wanted him to be asking. It was no secret that Jessica’s sister Natalie was in with Lucius Sinister’s crowd. It was also no secret that Romulus would never be allowed to be a part of Luicus Sinister’s crowd and so questions of what Lucius Sinister and his little following were up to; was something that Romulus could never be able to supply to the Dark Lady.
Romulus knew of course that it would be folly to launch into questions about Natalie to Jessica. After all, the girl could not have liked her sister a lot. One of the first times Romulus had seen Jessica, it had been when her sister had gotten the better of her in front of him. At that time, he had known the two did not like one another a whole lot, and so to start with the topic of Natalie would be inappropriate, he had to ask it of her when he had her somewhere she would either not be able to leave, or simply not want to leave. Right now they were scarcely out of sight of the Manor, and so it would be easy for her to request he return her to Koalingo.
“Lets see, well it occurs to me that there is a lot I do not know about Jessica Everard, of course your name is famous in Britain I hear? Relatives of yours perhaps?” he thought this was a nice enough question. She could simply say that the Everards of Britain were not relatives of hers, and if they were then they had a topic for their first conversations. Things were moving on swimmingly. His thoughts flitted for the briefest of moments back to the manor where he wondered if the target of his meeting this morning; had in fact arrived yet? He didn’t care anymore, he was on another mission for the Dark Lady now.
