Romulus didn’t know what brought him to be in the grounds. He had just had a sudden compulsion to be there, and knowing he had given his will completely to… someone else, he knew this must mean someone wanted him to be there, right at this moment. He only wished he knew why, though it would be fairly obvious to think he would learn the purpose for this position soon enough.
His eyes scanned the area as he came to stop by the castle wall. The edges of the grass tried to climb up its ancient exterior but fell short for the blocks of stone were far to large for the grass to find a crack to grasp a hold to. He watched this for a moment not really knowing why it fascinated him. Almost like a metaphor of his life. He shook his head. No, he needed to be clear of mind right now.
He glanced around feeling tension building within him and he cursed himself in his own mind. He knew she could see in his mind, and the thought of her knowing that he was curious and a little afraid of what he might be here for made him feel as if he was not quite as useful to the famed cause as he had thought he was.
‘Hello?” he couldn’t help but sound as if he was expecting someone to appear out of nowhere. He knew a great deal of those who might scare him could not set foot on Koalingo soil anyway, but then it could be one of the… many who could. And so he would remain apprehensive until he knew who it was.
“Who is there? I warn you I don’t take kindly to surprises” he knew this was a very empty threat, but then what if it was just another student. Member or not, he was afraid of no student. He had never felt the need to and would not just because they might be more then what they appeared.

"But what if it's a good surprise?" Jessica called out from around the corner. Her body soon followed her voice and she appeared in behind him. She was out here for some 'fresh air' and Romulus had caught her once again. The cigarette was around the corner on the ground, stomped into the dirt.
She leant against the wall and looked Romulus up and down. There was no doubt that he was physically attractive, but there was something else about him that she found incredibly appealing. He wasn't like that idiot Sinister for one thing, he wasn't so proud with his head stuck up his own backside. Sometimes she just couldn't understand why Natalie followed him around like a sick puppy. Romulus, however, was a whole different ballgame.
"We have to stop running into each other like this," she raised her eyebrows, her gaze settling on his face. Yes, he was definately attractive, though she would never let him know it. "One might think you were following me around, Romulus."

“What are you doing here?” he said to her as his eyes narrowed just a little. He knew this would not be the reason for him being willed to this spot and was suddenly more afraid for her wellbeing then his own. He knew she was not part of… what he was a part of. He was sure that if she was, he would already know.
“I think you should go, now, back to the dormitory, as fast as you can get there,” he said though he knew even as he said it that she would not listen to him. Maybe that was what he found so appealing about her. He had been told to give up on her when he reported her sister had gotten the better of her in their duel, but he could not help but feel there was something more about her and that her role would one day become an integral one.
“You shouldn’t be out here anyway, you’re always doing this sort of thing, aren’t you? Well I have news for you, no one really likes a rebel, not really,” he wondered if she would take him seriously, he very much doubted it. She’d probably laugh in his face.

In ordinary circumstances, Jessica would have laughed. But now, she was not sure if Romulus was serious or not. It was certainly a turn around from the day before when he had opening laughed at her for losing to her sister. And now here he was... It almost sounded like he was trying to protect her. But really, the very idea was ridiculous.
Jessica placed one hand on a hip and raised her eyebrows, a small smirk playing across her lips.
"What's your deal? Since when does Romulus Silvia look out for anybody but himself?" she was a little disgusted at the way he was acting. It was certainly strange. In any case, it looked like he was sticking around to meet someone and she certainly wasn't going to miss that.

“What a fine question,” came a voice from the darkness. It was a sixth year Ruberagon by the name of Albert Francis. He had come to meet with Romulus as was the word from her. He looked forward at the scene and wondered momentarily what Romulus was playing at, bringing an outsider to their meeting. Though then Albert knew Romulus would not have understood this to be the case, and so he thought he might just have to tell this girl where she would be better of being at this time.
“Excuse me, but aren’t you that girl I saw scuttling through the halls the other day with that big mark right across your face, I can hardly recognise you now, let me tell you though the mark was a much better look,” he smirked looking at her. She was not welcome here and he would not pretend she was. He looked from the girl to Romulus as if telling him without words that he needed to remove her from his sight.
“Well?” he said at last to Romulus, “Are we going to talk or would you rather me tell – her – that you are too busy entertaining to listen to what I have to say?” he said looking at Romulus directly pretending as if Jessica was nothing more then a nasty smell.

There was a sour look on Lynette's face as she appeared at Albert's shoulder. She had always hated Jessica Everard. Or was it Natalie? Nevermind, she hated them both. It could have had something to do with the fact that both the Everards were quite attractive and popular, neither qualities which Lynette posessed.
And here she was, whichever twin it was, hanging around in their meeting place, following Romulus Silvia like a lost puppy. She was disgusted. That Everard would never know what it was like to follow the Dark Lady, she was probably just following Romulus because she thought he was decent looking.
She sneered as Albert spoke and looked to Romulus for any expression change. She would take note of this interruption to their meeting and report it to the Guild of Avada.

“Watch it Francis,” Romulus spoke, getting all of his courage back when he saw that it was Albert and not someone else from… somewhere else… He looked at the boy with a slight deal of dislike; it was not like he could not have come to Romulus’ dorm and told him whatever it was he needed to tell him. Why here, and why did he feel the need to drag Jessica into it.
Romulus looked at Lynette though he did not greet her or mention her name, it was bad enough already that Jessica had had to meet one of his… acquaintances. “I will be but a moment Albert, if you and your friend here would like to wait,” he said pointing to a clearing a little ways away from them.
”Listen, Jessica, how about we hook up later on, yeah?” he asked her knowing this would probably come as a bit of an insult brushing her off. But she could never know how much he was helping her by sending her away.
“I’ll drop by later on then?”

Jessica's eyes narrowed as the other Ruberagon's showed up. Francis was rude to her, but that was nothing out of the ordinary. And there was his little follower, Lynette. Those two never seemed to be apart, but she hadn't really known they associated with Romulus.
The Ruberagon in question looked slightly nervous and uncomfortable and when he asked her to go, she decided for once that she would do what he told her. It seemed quite out of character for him, normally he was laughing at her, or teasing her. She didn't mind this, but it startled her a bit when he said quite seriously that she should go.
"Of course" she said to Romulus, with a quick glance at the pair near him. "I'll speak to you later" she did not smile. With a last look at Romulus, she turned and departed.

Lynette glared at Jessica as she left. She did not like the way the other girl looked at her, but she was gone now, and there were more pressing matters. She turned to Romulus, finally speaking.
"You can't have gotten very far with her, if you don't even want her to see you in the company of us" she said. Lynette had a message from the Dark Lady.
"Your recruiting is ridiculous, Silvia" she spat, pronouncing his name in a way she would normally pronounce it for a female of the same name, "You haven't had a new recruit for months, and My Lady is very dissapointed in you. You know how she gets when she's dissapointed, Romulus" Lynette said with a smirk, cracking her knuckles.
Romulus was supposed to be bringing people over to the dark side, and this relationship she had seen with Jessica Everard looked to be distracting him.
"She says you've got two weeks, and if she's not one of us by then, you're... shall we say, in trouble?" she smiled. Romulus was favoured by Lady Avada for his skills and she was quite jealous of him. It brought her much happiness to deliver the message that Romulus Silvia was not in Avada Kedavra's good books.

“So that’s it then?” he said looking at them both with looks that would make a dragon shake, it was if someone had clicked a switch, Jessica was not around, he was in his mode again, “Two of my very own recruits here to tell me that I am not doing a good enough job, how pathetic it is to see my own children turning on me,”
“If it wasn’t for me, the two of you would still be one of them,” he sneered at them cocking his head back to where Jessica Everard had been. He knew they were only passing on a message, and a good warning it was too, he didn’t want not to be warned. All the same it brought to life an issue he was having, and he knew it would catch up with him eventually.
Romulus turned away from them and watching the fleeing Jessica disappear into the castle. He knew he had to do something, and soon, but what? How would he get her to join?
“You may carry my words back to the Dark Lady, and anyone else who thinks I am not focused,” he said looking at Albert and Lynette with a new found conclusion of them truly being guild members and not his recruits. “You may tell Lady Avada, that I will be as she has commanded, two weeks,”
